Actually if that is a shia practice and is done by people all over the world, then it is the view of the majority that it is wrong anyway. My children have never suffered that kind of barbaric act, nor ever will be. neither has my husband or his family. I'd say it is one of the extreme sects...and it should be banned. It should be criminalised. I think also from what a shia has told me, it is extreme even within the shia. I find that whole blood bath inflicted stuff just mind blowingly wrong...on so many levels...and never realised that anyone but the men did this...certainly never heard of poor babies being harmed...thats too sick!
How does anyone genuinely equate that with love? With God?
