Most of the things you mentioned happened decades ago. The UK has an imperial expansionist past (along with France, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Russia, Austria, Turkey, Japan etc.) and did horrible things around the world, but should be sons be blamed for the sins of the father?

India and Pakistan etc. have contributed greatly to the UK, fighting in the Second World War, contributing to the economy etc. As did many other countries that were not part of the Empire (many Polish and Czech pilots contributed to the Battle of Britain, the Free French and US in the Normandy Landings.) Don't forget that if Germany and Japan had won that war, Pakistan and India would also have eventually fallen against the Panzers.
