dont try and justify yourself about finding threats an amusing joke of some sort - thats just twisted.
the quote was nothing to do with the abuse thread, and in fact is one my favs, because it comes from a normal discusion, and shows how you handle conflict that you dont like - stalkerish threats. Creepy, really.
Like your "taking it to the next level after slapping" threats you seemed to find amusing. Recall them? No "pulling hair", but simply arranging for people to be shot.

Me, if these comments had been made to me, I'd have been quite offended, and possibly threatened. Lucky you find them all a "joke" though huh?

as we r in cyber world dickhead i think u will find me and ammie havin a row sayin she was gonna pull my hair n i was gonna shoot her etc wasnt real life i didnt ask her for her adress i dont hate her that much that it was a real threat n im sure she wasnt on her way down to my house to pull my hair but this is what im saying
as u aint from this country u aint got a fuckin clue mate u take everything and twist it out of context please ask ammie if she felt threatened n honestly believed i was gonna knock on her door n shoot her u dont belong here if u dont get things u should fuk off |

Hang on Pol, I seem to remember that you accused Vibe of being an abuser only a few days after we had chatted on the forum.. it was a shock to everyone.
All I can say is if you are a Social Worker...then your 'act' on here isn't after all one...I only ever met 2 decent SW's in my life...and one was on a 6 month exchange from Australia.
God help us all. I wouldn't let your vile mind near my children for any reason.

she isnt a social worker....she apparently is a moderator on another forum HAHA according to her dribble a few months back.
Aisya, its a sad thing that social workers in Britain appear to be missing the mark (thats probably a huge understatement). Although I am not 100% sure, I have a feeling that the training and education of social workers in Australia is structured differently. Thats not to say there arent issues about the way we have been involved (or not) in child protection cases. its a tough area to work in...I did one of my social work placements in the area child sexual assault - it opened my eyes to the harsh realities of the system and its influence over how you support survivors and their families....it takes alot of skill, communication and real compassion to work in this area effectively (especially on a long term basis), I dont think social services put enough effort, time or consideration into selecting people appropriately and when they do...they tend to be influenced by that same system into performing their duty within very tight and judgemental boundaries. I've very sorry to hear that you have had so many problems with social workers- doesnt say alot for one part of my profession. |

I remember a locum social worker 'Graham Buddery'...a so called specialist...teloling me that as long as I kept quiet, he'd be ok, but otherwise, the noises my 'ex' was making about wanting 'access' or 'custody' of my daughter (who my hubby is father of...not my ex) might have to be looked at closely. My son was terrified by one 'Carol Curtis'...and basically told to shut up, because in his situation he should not think about living with his 'mum'...after all she put the 'issue' in the arena without social services consent...and lives out of county...so 'do you know what we do with kids like you? we take you away from your family, we put you in care and no-one ever gets to see oyu again? Would you like that?

HOLY CRAP!!! thats not social work, thats fecking EVIL!!!!! Ok, thats beyond a fecking joke. I am so very sorry that you and your son continues to experience this...no-one should ever have to face that kind of systematic abuse. Why on earth are they like this??? Your ex sounds like a dangerous and manipulative man. You are amazingly strong, kind, compassionate and patient (especially considering this) and its a good thing that you have a supportive and kind husband now. I hope your son returns to you soon. |
