Who calls herself- Susan Thomas or su_mas. This person claims to be from New Zealnd but her English is atrocious and wanted to offload a pair of designer boots from me. Please see my post below!
She insisted on paying by cheque depsite my adamant determination not ot be paid in this way and would not entertain escrow or paypal. The final realisation came when she wanted to send a courier to my house to collect the boots whilst delivering "the cheque".
She claims that " i dont have cash to send to you via paypal or westernunion becos ama business woman..." so can only send me her "fraudulent" cheque.
I am soooo angry with these people do they not realise that people work hard for their money and possessions and that what they are doing is morally repugnant... Get a fricking job you losers.
In retrospect though I should have let her think I'd sell them to her and send her courier off to some fictious address in the middle of a field!!! Or I should have taken the cheque and put a one penny piece inside a large box all packaged up nicely for her and then ripped up her fraudulent cheque! |

Never accept cheques - under any circumstance. Never accept bankers draft unless they stand next to you while you pay it into your bank account and your bank checks the validity - when you get confirmation from your bank - then you hand over the goods. Cheques can be recalled at any time - and contrary to belief there's no time limit on it. Sometimes it can take months for people who have had defrauded cheques written in their name, to get their money back - and guess who has to pay the money back - you!
Cash always, or instant bank transfer. No payment in your account first, no goods. |

nope - you need to stand next to them while THEIR bank checks their funds and writes the draft to you. banks have been known to validate a bankers draft, only later to then tell the seller that it's fake. |
