Hi!!
Can anybody answer me one question?? I am polish and used to work in UK and have british insurance number and bank account. Theese two are neccessary to work in most places in UK.
Soon I am going to work in Ireland and would like to know if theese two are recognized in Ireland or will have to apply for irish ones.

Hi Ya,

You will need to get a PPS Number, whch is the Irish version of the NI number and you would need an Irish Bank account as you would be geting paid in euro's not sterling.

You need a passport to request a PPS number, this can take a few weeks to come through.

The bank acount is the hard one as they do not make it easy here!. You need an Irish address and proof of this (the letter from the PPS letter is probably the best), 6 months bank statements for your UK bank would help plus your passport.
