| Hi I live in a three bed council house in Ellesmere Port, and wish for a swop to a two bed ground floor council flat in the sw18 or sw19 area. Ellesmere Port is eight miles from Chester and fourty minutes from Liverpool. I have a large mostly hard standing back garden ideal for parking off road, and a small front garden. So if you fancy a move why not get in touch [/u][/i][/b] |

This forum tends not to focus on social housing.
I recommend that you see your local council officer to find out about their mutual exchange schemes and how you can register. There are sites on the internet where you can advertise council swaps for free. You could also contact the council that runs the SW18/SW19 area for advice and check whether it's worth while speaking to housing association there to see what opportunities there are to transfer.
I recommend that you don't rent out your council house privately in the interim as you will be in breach of your tenancy agreement and will lose the property. |

seriously
why the hell would anyone want to exchange `SW17 / 18 for Ellesmere port which is up north / is grim in the extreme / is near liverpool / is full of scousers / has a very high crime rate / is full of drugs / has crap weather / long nights in winter / where everyone is poor / where there are few jobs / where those in work earn a pittance
come on - are you having a laugh? |

People exchange all types of property all across the UK and he doesn't need to justify or defend his proposed move with you.
He has, however, through your sneery response, realised that this isn't the best forum for his enquiry.
I've seen people advertise their council properties for a mutual exchange who live on Broadwater Farm, Tottenham, scene of some of the worst rioting and deprivation in the UK.
This fits your criteria of grim, high crime, drugs, poverty and lack of employment and it's on your doorstep. |

The rents are on average 55 pounds a week for a three bed council house in this area hope that helps.

| sorry you feel that way about the people from my area. You are obviously very biased in your opinions. This shows to me what little you know about so called northeners. Ah well off to take my ferret for a walk now. |
