An accountant has demanded more than £5,000 in compensation from estate agents after a cat sneaked into his house during a viewing and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
Paul Virtue gave Foxtons staff the keys to his £800,000 house in Battersea, south-west London, while he went away on a 10-day business trip.
But when the 48-year-old returned he discovered the animal had become trapped and used the four-bedroom Victorian property as a litter tray. |

| Has anyone considered the poor cats' predicament here? Locked in a strange house with no food and no contact with other cats or humans. The owner must have been out of their wits with worry and lets face it do you know any cats that know the price of houses today???? |

and I love cats.. so you could say I hate Foxtons as much as I feel sorry for that poor cat.
I'm just to get out of a flat that is managed by Foxtons, purely because they're a bunch of sharks. We are in a new development, and there are 4 other properties not yet finished, but because Foxtons are all-about-the-sale, they have been bringing clients around to our property to peer in the windows! In the first few weeks, they were knocking on the door and asking if they could use our place as a showhome!
I absolutely dispise them, and will never, ever use them as agents again, nor will I rent a property off them. |
