Offering free 'away from it all' - type stay in a beautiful farmhouse in Abruzzo, Italy, in return for help restoring the house. Get a taste of what it's like having a place in the sun, or just to see and experience this beautiful location! The idea is to do a 50/50 deal: 50% of your time (the first half of your stay) you help us working on the house, and 50% (second half of your stay) you can enjoy a free holiday in one of the most beautiful, unspoilt parts of the Italian countryside. Example: You stay for 2 weeks: first week we work together, second week you do what you like (sandy beach is 30 minutes away; beautiful mountain area around 40-45 mins)! Large 20sqm room with double bed will be provided.
We're particularly interested in skilled people, though none of the work necessarily requires a professional (the first floor of the house is fully habitable). So if you're a builder, roofer (only minor roof repairs..), gardener, or skilled DIY person, get in touch.
Email: abruzzohouse at gmail dot com or reply here with your info. Dates available from April onwards (it will be very sunny and warm, even in April!). |

Um not sure, gonna start in Spain towards the end of june and head towards Italy after that. Thats a shame that you might not be there then, if you happen to be, my email address is lauren.wilding@gmail.com. Id love to do something like that for a while!
Otherwise, if you know of any other random work that I might be able to pick up on my European travels, Id really appreciate some advice!!
Thanks |
