| Well, thats new. Now it's cheap but pretty soon we will end up paying extra for every piece of trunks we take on the plane. God Almighty! |

| A bit off the subject, but check out Channel 4 next Monday night at 8.00pm. RyanAir: Caught Napping. From what I can gather, it is a doumentary where 2 undercover journalists work as cabin crew for 5 months and secretly film training programs and onboard flights. You may have seen the ad on TV. Should be interesting since I am and most people I know are a fan of the cheap flights they offer. |

Why are people complaining about this? It is RYANAIR for God's sake. Book BA if you want, you won't pay extra for baggage and hey, they'll even throw in a free sandwich on the flight too - the ticket will cost you four times as much but hey...
Personally I think budget airlines should keep costs down however they can, and charge people for EVERYTHING on top of the ticket itself. That way people don't pay for services they don't use (apart from hand luggage allowance). That way fares stay low for everyone else. |

| As far as I can remember Ryanair have always charged for baggage over a certain weight. You can always go with Easyjet, although their aeroplanes don't seem to be as good, kind of old and rattling one I went on was, put me off the airline did that experience. |

| Its not really an increase in fares, they are dropping all fares by 9% and then charging for luggage. So basically the winners here are those who dont have or have very little luggage! |

A tip for luggage weights - visit www.20kilos.com before even trying to pack. You can weigh your luggage virtually to give you a good idea of the weight. |

| Part of the reason for doing this will also be to speed up the queues at check-in - let's face it the time you spend checking and waiting to board - in is longer then most of their flights. |
