Has anyone used a pay as you go mobile?
My current service provider has been a complete and total nightmare and I am thinking of changing to pay as you go.
Do you think it is better? |

Yep...I use one, have done for the past year.
I'm with Vodafone....they're great for me!
I probably spend less than £10/month, and get 500 free texts, free calls and text each weekend, and 30p calls for 60 minutes between 7:30pm and 7:30am.
Daytime calls are a bit of a killer, about 30p/minute, but I don't make many, so that's okay
I wouldn't save any money by going on a contract, if anything I would be worse off.
Good luck! |

My sister had that problem with vodafone and she had to pay the whole contract length, i think it was around £300 if she ended it within that 18 month period, the best thing to do really is see if any of your family/ friends can take it over for you with there details, i think that's the only way that you would get out of it... Good luck |

Hi,
I have both its hard to say which is better because it's all down to how you use your phone and what for?
A relay good network provider for PAYG in my opinion is o2 my friend topped up like £5 and got 500 free minutes and 1,000 free texts.
My contract phone is on 3 i get 1,100 units i can use for texts or minutes for £24/month i also get 300 3-3 minutes.
My PAYG phone is on Vodafone and i get free evening calls and texts if i top up £5 in the week.
It's all down to how you use your phone they are some very interesting contract deals around now but also some very good deals for PAYG.
Decide what you want to use your phone for either more minutes or more texts and the best place to find deals is the good old internet.
Regards,
Richard |

I use TESCO
*** Pay as you go ***
At the end of the year you can ring them and ask for a new phone... If you have spent enough on air-time they will give you a £100 voucher to buy a new one...
I have been withthem for 5 years and I have got a new phone every year from them....
Only this week they gave me a Nokia 6500s for FREE
I don't know of anyone els who will do this...
I hope this helps
