Hi there everyone,

Am new to this forum - have found some good information whilst browsing around here...

Thankfully, my question to you all is slightly more focussed than the typical "where should I live in London!?!?!?" query.

I am basically wondering if anyone has any thoughts / opinions / advice concerning the Bayswater area of West London. Me and my girlfriend are planning to move in September, and it's on our list of 'possible' areas. I have noticed that Bayswater has not come up in many discussions on these forums. Why?

Im interested in issues such as value for money (I realise it's pretty expensive - is it worth it!?), transport links and entertainment. We're budgeting around £225pw for housing, is it realistic to get a half decent studio for this money?

Any thoughts / opinions / warnings would be very much appreciated.
