This is my first post so please be gentle 
Slept with my new bf last night for the first time ...he was good but as soon as I gave him my vibrator for some extra kinkiness he got all embarrassed and didn't want to play with it...probably scared him off now..  ...I'm hoping I just took him by suprise as I like him a lot.
My previous bf loved to use it on me, then again he could be a right perv.. 
Are there any other men out there who get a bit intimidated using toys?

Yeah or he might've had some kind of idealized view of you as more "innocent" or something which you totally stumped when you brought that out... 
You're probably right that he didn't know what to do with it, maybe he's never encountered one before. And if so, I think that in turn made him feel inadequate as if he wasn't enough by himself to satisfy you. I guess he lost momentum & belief in himself rather than saw it as something to just add to the whole experience.
I've never owned/used any sex toys, it's not for everyone you know  Maybe you should've introduced the idea a little more gently.
I have some male & female friends who are quite outspoken in the joys of sex toys & buying them for partners/themselves, so I think that just varies between different people. I'm sure if you talk to him though he can get into the idea. |
