Hi Akki,
Why are you asking this? Your documents are already with HO so even if Rakhi submitted false documents with your application, then you'll need to get your documents back from HO.
And moreover, HO can find out details of any person living in this country. So one can run but can't hide.
I will conclude with the suggestion that there is no other option but to wait for the enquiry to be over. Neither can it be pushed nor any case will be dealt urgently (as we have found out by now).
If HO establishes that false documents were used to obtain visa, then two options:-
A) Hire a solicitor and fight a case which can easily take an year and loads of money.
B) Return to home country. Still hire a solicitor to avoid jail sentence.
Till the enquiry is going on, there are again these options:-
A) If you are working at the moment, then keep doing so as long as possible.
B) If you need visa status and proof to work, try to get the same from HO so that you'll be able to work. Consult a solicitor.
C) If your visa has been refused/expired, get a duplicate passport and go back to home country. It will save you a fortune. Don't forget to send a letter/fax to Eaton house informing them that you're going back so that they won't consider you absconding. |

hi
have benn reading all your comments till now...i had a talk with a lawyer and he said tht if you had submitted false docs with univisas even then the home office cannot do anything other than reject your hsmp visa...as there is no rule to deport a person who is in a valid visa here..........And moreover if rakhi has submitted false docs its her fault and not ours...so we wont be jailed and stuff...all they can do is reject hsmp...and it can be reapplied with your original true documents....so there is no need to panic..AND THOSE GUYS MAKING COMMENTS WITHOUT KNOWUING ANYTHING...PLEASE SHUT YOUR MOUTH IF U DONT KNOW ANYTHING
thanks

Hi Jay
I agree with you that home office cannot deport the person after a valid application has been made. They can only reject your application whereby you can appeal against the decision. If you reapply you have to pay a fee because you are submitting more documents with your application.
What I don't agree with is that if Rakhi has submitted false documents then its her fault because ''you have signed your application''. It clearly means that although she is representing you but ultimately you are resposible for matter it - by signing it you have agreed to the facts and figures in your application. |

Hi Akki,
I think the information you have provided is very useful but it is not helpful at this stage. All we can do it just wait. If you try to approach home office/eaton house then they will surely think that there is something fishy. This blog has been very helpful and I think we should wait for the outcome.
By consulting a lawyer we will just waste money at this stage because they will charge fees from you and suggest you to wait -something we are doing anyway. I have also looked at the HO website and it says that they are currently processing applications received on 7th March. Any applicants who have applied in or after March don't need to worry at this case. |

WELL WAT U SAID IS TRUE....AND I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HIGHLIGHT THE FACT THAT MY HSMP APPLICATION FORM AS WELL AS MY FRIENDS AND OTHERS HAVE BEEN SIGNED BY RAKHI HERSELF..............ANYWAYS LETME POINT OUT ONE THING.........''IF WE HAV THE ORIGINAL DOCS(OR A COPY ) AS COMPARED TO THE FALSE ONE WHICH RAKHI SUBMITTED...THEN WE CAN ALWAYS SAY WE HAD SUBMITTED ORIGINAL ONES WITH SIGNED PAPERS BUT RAKHI HAD SWAPPED THEM BEFORE SENDING THE APPLICATION''...AND THIS MAY HAV HAPPENED IN MANY CASES.........AND MANY PEOPLE WHO APPLY FROM THEIR HOME COUNTRY HAVE BEEN REJECED BECOS THEY HAV SUBMITTED BOGUS DOCS....BUT STILL THE HO HAS GIVEN THEM SECOND CHANCES TO REAPPLY...........SOOOO DONT WORRY GUYS....HAVE FAITH BELEIVE IN GOD AND WE WILL ALL COME OUT OF THIS SUCCESSFULLY...............As far as what my lawyer has told to me....he has asked me to wait for the HO or Eaton house decision and then reapply.........AND I THINK THATS THE BEST THING TO DO THAN TO WASTE OUR TIME DISCUSSING STUPID ISSUES THAT MAKE US PANIC MORE....
THANKS |

| You can say to the Indian Officials that your passport was misplaced by your solicitor and hence you are applying for the new one but what are you going to do about the visa. Would the HO re-stamp it? I would suggest you could take the emergency certificate if you have any urgent travel commitments. |

Hi
I called Home Office today and they said that the application my is still under consideration.
Could you please advise on this guys?
Do we need to call Home Office or Eaton House? Is Eaton House a part of the Home Office or a specific department dealing with investigations?
I think we should wait for another 1 month and then consult a solicitor together as this investigation could take ages and ages. |

Hi
Its been more than 10 weeks since I applied. The guy on the phone advised me that you have just crossed the 10 week mark but unfortunately we can't disclose any information. Your application is under consideration ''the f***** word they use every time''.
Anyways lets wait for the outcome. |

Hi
The same thing happened to someone I know and it took nearly 5-6 months. I think this will take longer than we all expected. I checked the HO wesbite and it clearly says that they are currently processing applications from 13th March so they are taking a long time for even normal applicants (people who are not involved in this Univisas story).
