getting really annoyed now! im desperatly searching for a new place or a flat mate and i get scam and spam all the time!
why cant gumtree filter these frauds out???

I’m a respectful lady. I work in financial services at a law firm downtown. (I can explain the job in more detail if you want, but trust me, it doesn’t get any more exciting.) Anyway, it’s full-time, stable, and I’m happy to show you the last months bill , a salary letter from the HR department, paystubs, etc. My financials are solid and in order.
As a roommate, I am neat and clean, but not obsessive about it. I guess I have a “you use it, you clean it” way of looking at things. I don’t smoke, and I don’t have a pet but im pet friendly, I’m happy to chip in that i live alone in the flat at the moment and im looking to rent out either one or both the vacant rooms.
The only thing that is super-important to me is that there is no smoking in the common areas. I don’t particularly care if you smoke, but please do it outside, or in your room. I am fine with cats and dogs. I don't do a ton of cooking, especially during the week. Overall, I would say I am a very low-impact roommate.
What else...I’m straight, if that matters. I personally don’t care what race or orientation you are. I’ve lived with men and women, straight, gay and lesbian, and gotten along with everyone. As long as you’re respectful and play well with others, you're OK by me.
I do a lot of writing at night and on weekends. I try and take a writing class as often as I can, so usually one night a week I am doing that. That doesn't mean I am anti-social and will never hang out (because I will)....................

The monthly rent is 500£ Utilities included and Council tax inclusive and a security deposit of 400£ for a single room
Ideally Located : 45 Bloomsbury Street LONDON WC1B 5BH,The location is near-perfect - within ten minutes walking distance of Oxford Street, Regents Park, Marylebone and Covent Garden.
Nearest Tube: Russell Square tube this is a very quiet and safe environment..
This is a perfect arrangement for a new comer looking for that first London apartment or for someone between apartments who wants to shop around before committing.
I'm looking for a responsible Flatmate's that's clean pay the bills on time and that has great positive energy. There are plenty of negative people out there the last thing I want is to come home to a negative filled house
and vice versa.
I'm looking to rent out to nice and cool person.The flat is a home rather than a party zone, and a good base from which to enjoy London. But that's not to say we don't hang out together and we will drink your wine if you open a bottle

I want you to know that the rooms is fully available at the moment.If you eventually get to rent the room.. you can receive visits as much as it wouldn't inconvenient you....
I would like to know how long you will be staying and when you will love to move in.....some details about you will be appreciated.

i could be wrong but
I think...............
that all it takes is for 1 person to prees the button reprting the ad as a scam and it gets moved for staff to look at you certainly cant see it again
it isnt a yahoo or other free email its seems to be a company
have you phoned them
i have, spoke to a v nice lady and she reckoned theyve just put the wrong picture on |

Basically, I never include an email address in any of my adverts - only a phone number. Apart from anything else this eliminates the endless time lapse between communications - also prefer to actually SPEAK to people in the first place!
Scammers seem to rely on email - less likely to make verbal contact! |
