Beccles - I'd be happy to join you in legal action. I too have been ripped off by him and have got nowhere. I did contact the police and trading standards but have been brushed off by both. The number provided in this forum for trading standards is actually consumer direct and all they do is provide advice - they don't take action. So I don't know what to do next to get my money back. Any help gratefully received!

Don't be too dispirited about Consumer Direct, it definitely is worth registering your case with them - I can up date you on that front when you contact me.

I was fooled to by this awful man, you have descibed him down to a t, i payed in 195.00 into his account on the 12th march and as yet i still havent received the buggy or a refund! i even waited in on my twins birthday for the promised delivery but hey we all know the outcome of this! I only found all this info today after trawling the net to see if anyone knew of this man and his helpers! and finally I have found others in the same situation as me, I have called the number given by moderator for trading standards who have informed me they will call me back within a week but i need an address for him to stand any chance of getting my money back. I am so sorry I am not the only one in this situation I had hoped I was a one off, but if anyone knows anything we can do to bring this man down then please contact me my address is <removed at user's request> and i will try and contact the other people who say they have info that will help. I have had no reply from him since 20th july by either phone or email so if anyone can help me then pleeeease do!

If you have only ever sent me the one email to that address which has bounced back can you try to resend and if that bounces back again post on here saying so and I will supply an alternative hotmail address. Thank you beccles,I have taken precautions! I have still had no money in my account so I have now given my final warning to Mr NM, other wise I shall be joining the rest of you in seeking justice through the legal system. The deadline is close of business thursday so if your reading this, Mr NM which I know you will be, I will be taking this matter to BBC watchdog to make sure if anything noone else falls for your scam, try working for a living!!

Just to update everyone. I have sent a load of information to an officer at Trading Standards who is now investigating this man.

I have also given them all the email addresses of the victims that we know of, including the people in this forum. Hopefully Trading Standards will be in touch with you all to gather as much information as possible.

con.fused has also provided me with information, so anyone that has contacted them with their details will be provided to Trading Standards as well.

I have just been conned by this N M**** guy for nearly £300. I am sickened by him, especially by the fact he is obviously doing this to lots of other pregnant women.
I can tell you that the Bugaboo Gecko in Black which was posted on Monday for £260 in 'West London' is him. He has used exactly the same pictures and text as the previous week when he scammed me. I also have a mobile number for him although he has obviously turned it off since he received my money and probably has many different SIM cards.
I will make a report to Trading Standards - please let me know what else I can do to help stop this guy.

I cannot delete but previous post as the forum page won't allow but I can state that the seller in question is now being very co-operative and helpful. I have not made a report to the Standards Office as the issue is being resolved.
