Dear forum,
I am planning to apply for HSMP scoring categories under the following sections:
Under 28 - 5
Bachelors degree - 15
4 years of graduate level experience with 1 senior level experience - 50
However, I have problems proving the "1 year senior level" work. I was working as a "Team Lead" for a global software company(with about 2000+ staff) for 1 year and for the past 5 months working as a Project manager for the same company. Although I am executing in the capacity of a project manager, my current job designation is "Senior software engineer"
Pls help me how I can prove the HSMP that my experience is in senior level. I have a total of 5.5 graduate level work experience.
My company is willing to provide me with a detail job description with all my job roles and duration, however my designation will still stand as "Senior Software Engineer"
Can some one please tell me how best I should present my letter proving senior work?
Thanks in advance. |

| I am not familiar with the requirements for under-28's, but I know that for over-28's to claim the full 50 points you need 10 years exp including at least 5 years in a senior role. Also simply "team leader" will not cut it, to claim the senior level bonus you will need to prove you held something like a high-level managment position. |
