in response to your post, I am aware of a youth football 'club' in NE Lincolnshire (grimsby/cleethorpes area) who currently run girls teams in local leagues in the area plus tournaments around the region in the summer, current age groups primarily U13, U12. The club has been established 4/5 years and a core of the girls have been together for this length of time. They are extremely competitive locally and both growing in terms of the number of participants and ability. The girls commitment and attitude is exemplary. If this is of any interest to you I would be interested to hear back & can put you in contact with the revelevent contact.

Best regards, WP

Hi,

York City Ladies are currently looking for a sponsor. We play in the North East Regional Premier League. We currently have had some pre-season games against Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United and also Doncastor Belles. We are pushing for promotion this season and also looking to win our local cups. We have previously reached the second round of the FA cup. Please feel free to get in contact with me on not2knight_plz@hotmail.com. If you are interested about any more information about the club please visit our website: http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/yorkcityladiesfc/

BLUFC (aka 'The BLUes)was formed from the merger of the girls sections of Shirehampton Colts FC and Rockleaze Rangers FC and the University of Bristol Women’s Football Club. After an extensive period of consultation, and with the support of parents, players and club members, our new club was established in June 2008.

This exciting development now gives the club access to some of the best coaching and playing facilities outside of the city’s professional clubs. The club provides the opportunity for girls and women to play football, from the age of six years old in the junior section, right through to the senior team playing in the South West Women’s League Premier.

Our ethos is based on player enjoyment and player development. At the younger age groups the emphasis is on non-competitive play, with older age groups moving into competitive league football. We operate a policy that does not discriminate on the basis of ability – we welcome all players to join and have fun playing football.

The Mall, Cribb Causeway are our main Kit Sponsor - and we are looking for complimentary sponsors to assist with the purchase (or supply) or wet weather training gear.

For more information - please see www.blufc.co.uk.

Also - expect launch artciales to appear in the Bristol Evening Post, Radio Bristol and GWR over the next couple of weeks.

Kind regards
Darrell Hawkes
Club Secretary
