If you go to internet options and delete all files and cookies is everything gone of the computer?

Few days ago i cleared all history and cookies and have been using the net after that and have checked the cookies and nothing is showing BUT last time i checked history there were cookies going back from 02 june even though i deleted everything

why do they keep reappearing ? how can you totally clear all cookies ?

Your help would be appreciated.
