Shame you have been treated so bad in our country, I was made welcome in Warsaw, when I did some research on Plumbers last year.

I grew up with Polish people in Manchester and have fond memories of the types of culture and community spirity they brought to our town.

Just remember that whilst Poles were picking fruit and bending their backs, our lazy teenagers were sat at home watching Phil and Fern.

We owe a great deal of our economic success to migrant workers and our failures to Bankers, Middle Class 'buy to let' merchants and short sighted Politicians.

Economically speaking, we shouldn't automatically think that eastern Europeans are good for the economy. Most analysis is at best partial, at worst flawed.

Typically, eastern European workers will have high saving rates and low levels of consumption, living here only to earn and save money.

For a permanent Brit, money saved will be put into the banking system, pension system or whatever - it will get recycled around the economy. Whereas for eastern Europeans the money saved will be moved out of the economy, either immediately or when they leave. Given our export levels to eastern Europe, that is money the British economy can wave bye bye to.

Then there is the social aspect to examine. Salaries of low skilled migrant workers will be well below median income, and the housing preferences tend to be toward high density housing.

This will increase rent and house prices primarily due to the willingness to live in awful conditions for relatively short periods being economic migrants, but this is not going to be a preference function shared by permanent residents. So there is an increase in rental prices, and a decline in quality of property available. Which all has a knock on effect on quality of life.

Furthermore, by shifting the relative supply of labour (by increasing the supply of low skilled labour) that will depress the wages paid to lower skilled workers relative to other workers (although the aggregate economy may increase, the relative position of lower skilled is unambiguously weaker). Again, not so good for our living standards - although with suitable government responses this issue need not be important.

Now, I don't have a problem with any of this - despite being a Brit I am much the same, spending lots of time time travelling overseas and saving large amounts whilst here which gets spent overseas.

But I happily admit I am bad for our economy once analysis takes overseas flows of capital and impacts on living standards into account

Yes, we Poles are comming back to Poland. And to be honest I am happy for it!
True is only Poles who came here to England to save some money, work in warehouses 16 hours a day and live with other 6 Polish guys in 3 bedroom flat are comming back
Yes, I'm Polish too, but I can't say I like all of them. So personally for me it's better that some of them are comming back - more space for me
True is that 2- 3 years age everyone from Poland could come here and start work. unfortunatelly most of them were the low-class - pure dirty wankers who can't really speak fluent english. I'm not saying that my english is perfect, but at least I can talk and understand all of you English guys (not talking about Indians - no offence but your accent is crap, my friend)
So now I hope that here in England will stay only this more educated part of Poles - with me at the front.
And just one more think before I finish. Look guys - you need to understand that we Poles came here not only to save some money and run-back to Poland. I came here because I saw England as a country of opportunity. So in three years-time working here I could afford to buy a car, take a mortgage for my house, go overseas for holidays few times - life is deffinietly better here than in Poland for me so I would like to live here not as outsider from Poland, but as a normal-english citizen.

Why any eastern europeans think that the English automatically should like them and dislike asians/blacks is nothing but fucking ridiculous.
