When will my ad appear? I'm new and unsure of the process.

I posted an ad for a rental offered yesterday and I'm not sure if I did it right because I didn't receive a reference number and my ad doesn't appear. I clicked on: " submit post for review by gumtree admin" or somthing like that, and then it took me to a blank screen. I didn't register before I posted the ad, is that the reason? Can someone please help me?

If you think you submitted your ad OK, see this for why there might be a delay:

If you clicked somewhere else by mistake and didn't submit the ad at the end of the posting process, just try again - and remember to press the submit button.
