There was recently an ad on the gumtree (13th or 14th of March) advertising for a SALES COORDINATOR IN LONDON, this has been a huge scam and I would appreciate it if anyone who has been involved with this come forward and report it to your local police station. This is currently under investigation for money laundering and when the people involved get investigated and any money is traced to you, could land you in a lot of trouble as well.

The ad has since been removed from the list on the gumtree but If anyone does come across a future ad for this sort of job, please do not get involved and inform the police.

These people, pose as photographers and ask you to transfer money via Western Union. I'm sure their profession will change should they try this again, so please be aware of anything that seems suspicious. When it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Personally I would like to know how many people they have managed to con with this scam.

I think that the same pople doing it , as there was one wraning in acomodation section as well , so whoever advertising to send them money by western union are CHEATERS ..pople should not be stupid and pay without any gurantee but u never know always sombody who will do it ..(like with nigerian winning letters

CRB = criminal records bureau

this is a complusory you have to go through if you want t o work with children - once it has been done you are cleared to work with young people - it looks into your background and in theory should identify any convictions you have and whether you are a risk to children

it is not your job to complete this but is for the employer to do if they plan to employ you

It is police records of convictions, cautions, reprimand and warnings.

i think it cost about 1O pound and u will get CRB in one month from police just drop to any police station and ask is very easy to get

Normally the employer will pay CRB check for the successful candidate 'cause they need the CRB up to date.

You wont get an account with no proof of id or address, everyone wants it so you dont knock them for money.

CRB means the Criminal Records Bureau, a police agency that checks the suitability of people to work with the vulnerable in the society like children, adults and the sick. The ycheck records of cautions and prosecutions to see if you have a criminal record that will bar you from working with the vulnerable.good luck
