Sorry to disappoint you all but me and my partner have three kids hes a taxi driver and Im a hairdresser!!!!!
Oh and just so you know I live in a Hillcrest Housing association house, (three levels) three bedrooms, quite happily without the financial noose around my neck, no pram my kids are 14, 9 and 8, and while were on this subject, if your kids are going to be brought into this world, with the correct upbringing and moral codes, why do you feel the need to set up a bought house etc for them, surely, they will be so supremely clever and talented they will not need this sort of "HAND OUT". Unless its nothing to do with kids and more to do with personal financial gain!!!!!!!!

Oh and by the way, lest not forget the non paying absentee fathers in this equasion, when is someone gonna mention, the total lack of reason for setting up the child support agency, when they never seem to collect any money??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So my point is that some people have no choice but to go on benefit because its really scary when your on your own for the first time with a child and a flat to take care of, luckily his family are very supportive of me n my daughter. I worked before i had my daughter since i was 18, i was 23 when i had her and i went back to work when she was nearly 2, im currently on benefit AGAIN since my employers (like many) were so unaccommodating with regards to my hours, they gave me ridiculous shifts yet knew i was on my own with a kid!
All in all ive been on benefit for about 14mths in my life. I hate it and yes i have been applying for jobs but with this bloody credit crunch they dont actually employ anyone, they have to be seen doing it! I applied for 7 jobs off this website yesterday so hopefully i'll get something outta that.
Im not a scrounger, the benefit system is there for those who need it when irresponsible, immature dickheads leave their families for a tart who cant keep her legs together!!
And yes i dont agree with those who take the piss and just stay on benefits cos "your better off", i beg to differ actually. I feel im financially better off when im working and i aint staying on Income Support for ever more!! I think if you can work then you should go out n work.
How does everyone else feel about being called a "benefit scrounger"?!

Anyways i cant be bothered to point out all the pointless posts some of you guys made 
I have a young child and do not work because of disability but does the disabilty meen i cant have a child and live of benifts?
Because im on benifits does this meen that my child will be on benifits?
Common you all need to open your eyes and realise that your being forced to help people out of the goodness of your heart even though some of you dont seem to have a heart.
We need relax on drug laws as i would be very able to be a "weed farmer" bringing in a reliable income from my hard work and also would be an intrest 
for the original post: why moan that your getting paid for spending time with your daughter? make the most of it and enjoy it instead of paying for a internet bill and posting pointless topics.
Only reason your being called a scrounger id because you seem a "loud mouth" going round advertising your not working and taking money. |

Whinging about how men dont pay child support etc...it takes two to make a baby right? or am i wrong. Jesus with the so called pain of child birth i would of thought it would make you think twice.
People like you only ever expect a man to cheat when infact in these days its the women who go and sleep around!
I mean did you read the newspaper recently? here it is in brief.
A man brought up a child that the wife said was his for 18 years.
The wife fools around behind the husbands back for 18 years with the real childs dad!
When husband trys to claim money back he cant!

Anyway about the benefits, there are many many MANY people who abuse the system and only a few who really need it.
I honestly believe this woman needs it hearing from her story.

Damn right, its always been like that however it is getting rediculous now i mean hell if i want to become a labourer i have to pay 40 pound to take a test to explain that i know how to stand on a f**king ladder etcetc.

You are the scum that is ruining this country, no doubt your grandad fought in ww11 right, probebly one of the soldiers that through an honest soldier infront of himself so that he can come back home to live a dreadfull and useless life.

Life in general..... if you can't afford something you go without. In other words, if you can't fund your child for eighteen years, firstly why did you put yourself in that position, and secondly, why should everyone else pay for you? |

I probably could be worth more than all of your fammily and my 2yr old daughter probably has more money in her bank than you will ever se in your whole life time, I actualy come from a very wealthy fammily who owned a wide range of plumbing companys and suplyers also swimming baths and leasure centre's.
I choose myself not to take my share as it comes with to much responsability
As for commenting on my spelling maybe just maybe that has something to do with me being dislexic and my aspberg/s ,

I have to say reading your post and answers to people, getting pissed off with people is not going to help your situation, whats done is done and your child comes first, am sure you will get help with CTax/Rent being a single parent and help with bills if you look in the right places, what goesa round will come around in time for your ex. |

lilmiss i agree with you seriously is this infant school !!! this girl is actually doing something about her situation and NOT SITTIN oh her ass like most !!! i've known a few people that have the attitude that they will stay on benefits and claim what they can and as soon as their youngest is 2 or 3 they just go ahead and pop out another one !! just because they get 500 quid grant and extra money per week and blah blah blah it's all crap !!! the benefit money you recieve does NOT pay for things like petrol, cars, tv's or even your tv licence or your water rates !!
so city plumber if workin is so great u tell me how when someone can't afford to pay their bills adequatley because the "government" does not include luxury items ( like payin for your water rates ! yes thats a luxury ) that when they go back to work they are weighed down by yet another problem !! all those debts!!
I agree that all benefits should be stopped/changed so it makes people go back to work and this really would open a huge debat about all those illegals and legals that are in our system taking our jobs or oh let me think do you read the feckin newspaper !! in the last 6 months their has been 3 prime examples of legal immagrants coming to britain and us the tax payers PAYING FOR THEM but they live in property's that are not standard council houses and admitted that they would never be able to afford to pay if they weren't on benefits !!
hmmmmm me thinks the system is fucked up !!!!
the system needs to help people get back to work and not stay on benefits !!!!
but if it's called for then yes i do agree benefits is there for a reason and a very good one !! a security net ! however people will take advantage of that and there is nothin anyone can do about that untill the government decide to !!
