Twice now I've tried to place a personal ad on GT but the confirmation / activation email hasn't been sent to me so the ads have been lost. What's going on?

Not sure exactly what is going on for you - it seems to work when I test it. Perhaps the emails are getting stuck in your junk mail filter? It depends a bit what kind of email account you are using.

I'm using a pop3 account via Outlook Express with absolutely no spam filter set up. I always used to get activation emails within a few seconds but after days of waiting for the missing ones they've still not turned up.

I will refrain from using this forum for support and I will email you with fault reports instead, though the last time I did that (and my first) I never received a reply which is why I took it to the forum.
