JUST A QUICK WARNING TO NANNIES OUT THERE.
There have been a number of scams going around from people pretending they are moving from another country to live in 'your nearest city'.
They are offering large amounts of money in form of a cheque before even meeting you,and are insistent on you keeping them informed about the 'cheque payment'.
I have recently been in this situation with one of these scam artists and its horrible!!
The people doing this are NIGERIAN and are using sick stories such as the wife has died in a car crash or of breast cancer and the emails I received were also of poor english.
Please be fully aware of this before swapping any details with people on gumtree and make sure you ask for pictures and details of the family etc if you do apply for any nanny jobs.
Please also be aware they are using yahoo emails accounts and e Exclamation nglish names such as Jack Anderson
Many thanks

I have just received a similar email from a man saying his wife died in a car crash and that her dying wish was that he take care of his children. He said he lives in Malaysia and will pay for my transport costs to the UK plus 400 pounds a week for only four hours work, five days a week. He was also using a yahoo email account. The add was entitled 'nanny seeking urgently'.
