Nobody asked you to join EU, nobody asked you to open boredrs for us. It is your decision and now you have what you wanted. This is my right to be here. I would advise you to improve your English. It is normal that I make mistakes - Englis is my second language. But you have no excuses to make one!
I am Polish..I have Master's Degree in Public Health. If you want a job - learn. |
This is the problem, nobody did ask us to join the EU, they asked us if we would like to join the EEC in the 70's but since then we have been railroaded all sorts of things which don't benefit us in the slightest.
So, you see, its not our decision at all and we didn't want it. We were not asked about a EU consitution or Open Borders with Poland or shovelling money to build your infrastructure.
You think you have it good now, but one day soon, we will take that right (to be here) away and will be able to tell people where to go, adding force if necessary. |
What a sad response perpetuating resentments based on factual inaccuracies
Britain voted twice to be with Europe after crawling cap in hand begging to be let in after you'd seen the benefits
You can't blame others if voters at the time couldn't be arsed to read the small print about the vision for the future of a United Europe
In my experience, employers here select workers from overseas because many Brits lack education and training - but many more have the attitude they're owed a job and don't see why they have to sell themselves to the employer
Britain will continue to need skills and hardworkers from overseas until it can get more of its own people off their moaning lard-arses and wanting to really work
The UK tried to build its finance industry to make it a world leader once again, but that's flopped spectacularly and now it's virtually bankrupt and being kept afloat by other countries - face it, you're in the EU for the long haul and being bailed out by workers overseas and workers from overseas |
So you wouldn't have said that getting cheap labour from abroad comes into the equation at all then.
Regarding Europe, I fail to see where the small print was. People voted for the EEC, in order to trade with other European Countries without tarrifs, needing visas, etc. Not to pay £106,000 per minute to have someone come and take their job.
Clearly, you are unhappy living here, so my suggestion goes without saying - the only choice is Dover, Hull or Felixtowe |

What's cheap labour got to do with anything - employers paying less than the legal minimum can be dealt with
But maybe employers can now pay more realistic wages rather than being held to ransom (have you heard of the old print unions?), and pay for work actually being done during a full working day
The Wilson Government's referendum leaflet delivered to every household stated part of the case for staying in Europe was to have a say in the political development - the fact most voters couldn't see beyond the attraction of cheap booze and tobacco was their own fault
And why is every disputed point met with cries of "Get out" from the twatted? |

I think people should take more notice of history and the when and why's we are in the mess we are in today.
The British Empire bears the brunt of the blame for mass immigration that we experience today. When we scoured the planet for this, that and the other we forgot to realise the long term problems all of it may cause in the future.
India, Hong Kong, parts of Africa, The west Indies, etc, etc. And now many years down the line we have a multi cultural society that stems from the days of the British Empire.
The only thing is now we have left ourselves wide open by the days that have gone by and it has left us looking weak and struggling to keep control. With boffins allowing it to happen so to not look as though we are being insensitive and nasty in any way. And then forgetting about the realistic implications of allowing just anybody to live and work here.
Immigrants from far and wide now think Britain is the ONLY place to be, and that is sad, as it is untrue. Britain is actually one of the worst places to be now it has lost its identity and continues to be sold off. How the mighty has fallen and we cannot blame anyone but ourselves, well the governement both today and yesterday for completely losing the plot.
How can a country continue to be proud of itself when all it does is sell off everything it has and then continue to allow itself to be pillaged by foreign influence and immigration which only changes the face and identity that has taken so long to build. Today we see Britain being thrown away and allowing itself to be a laughing stock to all of the other prosperous nations. We are now a dumping ground for the planets useless people, and a promised land for anyone and everybody to abuse.

Nature abhors a vacuum - just as Britain filled the voids in "civilisation" when it invaded and colonised a quarter of the globe, others who now have what Britain no longer has come here and flourish
For too long Britain depended on cheap produce and raw materials from around its Empire and its Commonwealth, allowing its inefficient protected farming and manufacturing industries to coin it in
As Britain got tossed out of country after country its supplies of cheap raw material dried up and its captive markets evaporated, its underperforming industries were swamped, superseded or acquired by the competition and its effective investment in education, infrastructure and people lacked purpose and got out of hand, but wage demands by both skilled and unskilled continued to rocket
Result: overpriced and underskilled people continue to lose their jobs to others who offer skills and effort for fair rewards - Britain's complexion is now subject to accelerating change - it's happened before and it's going to happen again
Like grief, you have to get over it and work with it - otherwise you Poms are in for the bleakest time in your history |
