If your clothes are branded and in good condition I would be interested in selling them on ebay on your behalf for a commission.
If you would like more information contact me at george0506@myway.com |

| I have heard of clothing agencies in parts of London who will sell your clothing on your behalf as long as they can take some commission from you. They look for designer clothing in excellent condition but it mustn't be more than 3 years old. |

| There's a charity based in Islington called Dressed for Success who help women get back to work by getting them some decent interview gear. So if it's good stuff, this would be a worthwhile place to pass it to. |

I didn't know they had Dress for Sucess in UK!
About 10 years ago when I was down on my luck and living in Vancouver I got refered to D4S. I ended up getting a wicked suit for an interview for free!
They rely almost entierly on donations, so I agree, its a good idea. |

Hi there
I have the same question, I was wandering if you found any place where you can sell your clothes rather than ebay or giving it to charity (I have already giving a huge bag of things) but what I have left is really nice staff. I am sure there must be some shops that buy and sell clothes... any where in London??
Many thanks |

I think theres a website called Freecycle. You can donate clothes/items you don't need, you can find some usefull stuff on the site.
Think its freecycle.org, try googling it though. |

Hi Everybody,
I have the same problem. I have around 50 pieces of women clothing, all are designer brands (diesel, miss sixty, bags are furla, diesel) and all of them are almos brand new. No time to sell by myself on ebay etc.
What can I do with them, how can I exchange them for some cash?
I am in London, any ideas, does anybody know any shop that buy second hand?
Many Thanks, |

Hi there,
I send you an e-mail regarding the second hand clothing, but i guess there is something wrong with your e-mail adress as they bounced back.
I have posted an ad to gumtree, so you can see the details of the collection there. The link is

Do I just show up on Brick Lane at a particular time to sell my stuff? Is there a fee I pay? Any information on selling at Brick Lane will be helpful. Thanks |

Listing is free on PriceMinister.co.uk.
Also there are no auctions, which is nice when you want to sell your items quickly..! |

E-bay is where it is
I sell my clothes that are too big for me on here, plus you know they go to a good home and you can make a small amount of money back if you can.
Here is what I am selling at the moment, maybe you will like the jeans? hehe

| I have found a fabulous online dress agency that only take 40% commission and take all the hassle out of selling PLUS they're great to buy from they guarantee that all of their products are 100% authentic unlike EBay. Check them out at www.designerdesires.com |

You could try Sell My Clothes, they are in Bloomsbury WC1, by the British Museum. They buy clothes, shoes, handbags as well as other stuff and they can arrange to have heavy boxes of stuff picked up free by a courier, anywhere in Britain.
http://sellmyclothes.co.uk
Alternatively, try eBay, but check prices of items sold similar to yours first. Unless its designer stuff, it sells for almost nothing. |
