| I have inherited a computer but when I go onto the internet, all text comes up as large. Is there a way of defaulting this to smaller text without having to go the view button and selecting the text size each time? I must admit that sometimes even the smallest text size is too big for the computer screen. Never had this problem with other computers before. Thanks for all your help in advance. |

| if you go to View on many browser menus, there should be an option to increase or decrease text size. There should be a heading named Text Size, then a sub menu. Try it and see. |

the Text Size setting doesn't always work, but there's good news for your aching eyes. You can get around the problem this way:
In Internet Explorer, select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
On the General tab, click the Accessibility button.
In the Formatting section, place a tick (checkmark) beside Ignore Font Sizes Specified On Web Pages.
Click OK twice to exit.
This should help with most sites. Unfortunately, on some it will probably cause the text to appear jumbled. In that case, you'll need to remove the tick from Ignore Font Sizes Specified On Web Pages to view the page correctly.
or the easy way to do is
hold down CTRL and use the mouse wheel to increase/decrease font size quickly. |

all you have to do is make sure that your text size isnt selected to large or extra large
click on 'View' and then select go to Text Size, then select medium as your option |
