This is for anyone considering renting property in Ipswich. Beware of using the estate agents called Mason`s. Your deposit is, by law, supposed to be lodged with a bonding agent and there are three companies which deal with this. I recently moved and it took ages to recover my deposit. I phoned and e-mailed the 3 bonding agents and they all said they had no knowledge of my deposit. This agent, it would seem, is only too happy to take your cash but, when you want it returned...that`s a different story!

I have heard via a neighbour and others who have had similar problems.

I have contacted the local press and am waiting for a reply. My local MP will soon be hearing from me and trading standards are in the frame.
