ok, so i work full time, pay council tax etc, yet i cant find a freaking bedsit, however if i was a student i can live in a world where council tax is non existent, probably use the council tax bill as roaches for my joints, a world where i can cycle to work for free, yet get in all the road tax payers way because you need all the road to get to your university that mum and dad are paying for.
and if for talking sake my bicycle happens to get a puncture thats ok, i can use my student discount card to get the bus or the train instead.
on my journey i can get a coffee which was paid for by the grant i got, which doesnt have to be paid back until i get a decent paying job, but i dont know when that will be as i soooooooooooooooooo need a year out to travel and pursue the world.

your all freaks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, King of the sweeping generalisation you aren't ya?!
I'm a student, I study full time and yet still manage to work 36hrs per week (which I do pay tax on actually) and for your information I also have to pay council tax as students are only exempt from council tax if they live in a property which is populated solely by students, otherwise it is a 25% discount.
My parents have never paid a penny towards my upkeep since I was sixteen and got my first job, and I find it incredibly offensive that people assume everyone at university is some kind of spoilt upper class brat who hyas everything handed to them on a plate.
I am not currently hungover as I actually value keeping a clear head for work, something which would make no difference to you I'm sure as you obviously have a head full of ridiculous prejudices which clouds it infinately more than a hangover would.
How about you take your head out your arse and stop judging everyone by a ridiculous imaginary standard of your own making.
PS, If I was you I would be prepared to be visited by three ghosts on Christmas eve, though I'm sure you'd just quiz them about the taxes in the afterlife.

hmmmm, im female so im the queen not the king and to your reply all i have to say is, whatever. most bedsits advertised are looking for flatmates who if they are not students then they must be prepared to pay full council tax by themselves, i dont think thats fair, why should i have to pay council tax if they dont, and if the flat is fully occupied by students, why the hell should they not pay council tax, everybody else has too.
if you dont like what i have to say, then tough, maybe you should look up the word opinion, your entitled to yours and im entitled to mine.
wether its wrong or right thats my opinion.
my place of work i have to deal with students day in and day out and i have never met such an ignorant bunch of people in all my life, they make a mess, have no respect, dont even bother to say hello and walk past you because they are at uni and im not.
my head is not up my arse i have reasons for feeling the way i do, and no doubt you never judge anyone, maybe have a think about that and ask yourself have you ever judged anyone in your life.
ever though people on benefits are scroungers, people on the streets should get a job etc, maybe think about peoples lifes before you reply, dont tell me you never judged anyone less fortunate than yourself, we all do it, i chose to express my opinion on here
