Hello! I am a first time traveler (well, traveling alone) 23 year old female looking for some suggestions on where to go in southern France and Italy, as well as suggestions regarding specific routes. I would like to be able to be near water and have some time by myself without having to go to "too touristy" areas... Nature is a plus! Any suggestions are great.

Beyond that, I plan on traveling from Berlin down to Vienna for a couple of nights, then to Budapest to take a train to Serbia. I will (thankfully) have a Serbian friend traveling with me down through Greece and that is when I break free and am on my own.
