Hey,

I'm starting to really like it over here and I think I am getting used to the weather now.
I have made a couple of trips into London and I really like it, there is so much to see and do. I also went up to newcastle with the family I am living with the other weekend for the girls step dad to take part in the great north run so it was good to see more of the country.

Good for you , Newcastle is a great place to go drinking and has a hectic social scene . Shame you are in Surrey as I know shed loads of Aussies in Herts , mainly the St.Albans area.
So how long are you here for my cricket team could do with an extra players for the womens team Laughing

Yeah there seems to be quite a few aussies scattered around but none where I live unfortunately, I did meet up with some in London a few weeks back which was great.
I am over here for 2 years hopefully, if all goes according to plan. I want to see as much of the country as I can and also do a few trips to Europe and see heaps of that

If you want to go to Prague and the Czech republic let me know as I spend time there and here and can point you in the right direction .
If you want to try and find anyone in your area use the ads section and post in the friends section.
Also meeting other AuPairs can usually be arranged by opening a thread saying meet with the town/region you are in. People scan the threads and will reply.
