| they have been contacted.....an if there were more do gooders then there would'nt be scum like this...an i do get out a lot.....he may show how it works....but when virgin switch these illegal boxes off...your outta pocket £90...so he's ripping people off just like the pet scammers...your concern for my spare time is touching though...thanks. |

Oh right, let me just clear something up, you have contacted the Police and VM. Yes? Why don't you stop spamming the Forum and leave it to the Organisations you have reported this to? If they want to do 'something' then they will. You are just making yourself look like a keyboard vigilante.
EuroVoxes, Starview, DBox etc have been around for years as has 'chipping' boxes. VM know about this and they periodically change the 'Keys' but that new 'code' is out within Hours of it being changed.
Just leave it and get a hobby Bobby.  |

Does it say something about Scammers in the Community Rules?
A lot of time seems to be spent 'looking after' certain poster and less time spent on sorting out the thieves and scammers that try and rob the decent folk on Gumtree.  Why is that??
I'm expecting a ban now, never mind, life goes on. |

no one has asked you to debate the rules , you are saying that i infringed upon the rules , im telling you that i did not break any rules , i feel that you accusing me of something that i never done , its all there in black and white , what rules did i break .. ?

wow...never knew there were so many people that cared....notice there all 1st posters..hmmmmm wonder why.......if you look at the dates you'll see i actually stopped on the 17th oct...and its not people...its person...as for the glasgow guy...what can i say...you've hurt my feelings.....an i'll stick my nose in where i want as you did commenting on this ... the person thats selling these is a criminal an a thug (check one of his posts)....

I admire what bobby-b's doing here, yet believe he's going about it the wrong way.
Having reported the guy to the police, the police will obviously take their time doing their investigation, and look for something solid they can hook him for. If there's nothing really solid as such they can get him for, all they can really do is wait.
Going to a newspaper such as News of the World, or other similar media with your story Bobby may actually spur the police into action, and they may work in tandem to bring him (and possibly other dodgy dealers) down..... Virgin/Sky will love it as well, and would most likely happily jump on board because of the publicity they'd get if they're about to bring out new boxes or whatever in the next few months....  |

| What's the difference between an entrepreneur and a criminal selling illegal things Rev?.....I know he's not robbing me, and I wouldn't give him the chance to, but a lot of people would be drawn to his illegal activities because of the low price, etc, which is why I like what bobby's doing. |
