Trying to find a job....

What is it with recruitment agencies !!!!....I spend most of my time phoning them seeing if they have put me forward for a job..."they dont know" or "oh thanks for calling thats reminded me to give them a call to chase them up"...and theres silly me thinking they earn commission on placing people....!!!!! god forbid.

Companies are just the same. No response, wont take your call nothing.....

Just about says it all for this country at the moment....

Right rant over...I'll get down off my sopabox now... :D

Judging by what we see, I'd say employment agencies are "letting go" their more-expensive staff - leaving them with the dross and trainees

Generally, companies have always been bad in responding to job applicants and often don't reply to those they reject - you can understand it a bit if it's a cold call, but most don't reply even when the applicant is responding to companies' job ads
