I keep replying to ads and I keep getting the response that the item has gone. Most of the times I email, the view counter is on 0 so I assume that i'm the first person to view it. I can only think that as I send the first email it goes to the bottom of the sellers emails page (if you know what I mean). This means that the seller will automatically look at the emails at the top first.

This is purely a rant as it gets right on my man boobs and annoys me because i've missed out on so much stuff!!!

Why can't gumtree offer a private phone number to call / text like friday ad does (so your real number doesn't show).
