|
|
Hello, I will be moving to London soon and will be working in the city, so I am looking to live somewhere that I don't have to do some major commuting. I am looking for a area walking distance to a tube, pubs, local shops and a market. A live music venue would be great too. I'm 33 years old, so a young area would be fun.
Do you have any suggestions?
I have been thinking about Shorditch?
Price range: around 200-230 a week |

Yep, shoreditch is very hip and so pretty expensive.
You could try Hoxton, Kingsland, Dalston, Hackney Central areas which are a bit further down the road but all of which are about 30 minutes or less bus ride to the city.
Hackney does not yet have a tube system but there are cheap buse rides every 2 to 5 minutes into the city 24/7. A lot of londoners also cycle everywhere and Hackney would be perfect for this to get into the city as it would take about 10 to 20 minutes cycle ride. |
