whats the point in reporting ads?

what is the point in reporting ads when a) you do not take action and b) it takes too long when you do?
I reported illegal ads this morning and they are still there !! and since not much happens in gumtree offices over the weekend they will be there for the next 48hours at least ! Why should users waste their time when you do not keep you half of the bargain and deal with it in a acceptable time frame?

I am not bothering anymore with this site.

but Why should I knock myself out for someone who comes on here, calling me a moron.
shouting the odds and swearing? they wouldn't go into a shop and do it

why think they can get away with it here?

Lets try to not throw accusations around. I fix problems on here all day. Every website has problems and I am here to get to the bottom of them. If you're just going to have a go at me all day then I'm not going to be able to solve anything for you am I?

heres a thought why not just give some members enough control that they can remove the ads and to pay them for their help offer free featured listing when they want it or such.
