| We're going to cuba next month - is it still recommended to take dollars when going - or is it Euros now? Can you get money out over there? Do they have cash machines? |

Don't take US dollars as you will get an unfavourable exchange rate (10% worse I think).
Euros would be best followed by pounds.
They have ATMs but don't expect them to accept your card.
You can withdraw on your credit card in a few places (CADECAs I think they're called) usually in hotels. |
