Hey People

I contacted the British Army on how I can join the military. Some of the requirements given to me is to have a UK based sponsor? Have money to live in the UK for at least 6 months, Have money to pay for my own transport to the UK.

The above 3 conditions I lack. Is there a place I can get assistance? Where can I get assistance or who can help. If there are Kenyans out there reading this serving in the British Army please offer your kind assistance to me.

last time i knew you had to be british to join the army either by birth or ((passport which in my understanding takes 5 years in this country then you can apply)), but jst to get in the country in the rist place u need a work visa, job, somewhere to live, a good reason to stay here.

No my son is in and they have all sorts of guys fom other nations tends to be ex colonies, i think the draw is, after a certain amount of service they can get citizenship

I would like to suggest that anyone considering joining the army, armed forces familiarises themselves as best they can , and confirm with recruiters their true rights. This information is often not mentioned until it is too late, or even not at all, for example, from the Queens Regs here

I dont realy have low self esteem. Not that I would not want to serve in my Countrys armed forces, but opportunities are very few & those who apply are very many coupled wih corruption during recruitment. Besides serving in the British army or the United States Army is far much better.
