I advertised my Nokia 5800 touchscreen for sale or swap with another phone. I swapped it with a guy and met him in town. The phone worked perfect, I could put my sim in ring out and text but by time I got home 10 minute's later I couldn't do nothing, so tried another sim and still couldn't do nothing. The guy had reported phone lost / stolen so I had no phone or anything, later at night I seen my phone listed for sale, I knew it was mine cos items with it and same phone number, he also had about 10 other phones listed at same time, so from a different number I contacted him about another phone but he wouldn't respond.
All I know is he's called Steve, lives West Bridgford way and works in Bulwell and if you trade with him he'll want to meet in town, he's bold or a little bit of hair and a big guy
I'm only posting this as I do NOT want anyone else to get scammed by same person or someone else.
I have had to start to take off contact via email option as there are more Nigerian scammers on here than eBay nowadays! |

| I did try, but I didn't note down my IMEI number before I swapped, (being blonde) then a month later I logged in my T-Mobile account online and accidentally clicked settings for MMS and it told me my IMEI for phone I had so I soon got it blocked. I now make sure a phone is working before I buy one off Gumtree, although I'm still wary of buying anything online part from Tesco food shopping lol |
