hi there guys i want to go to the phillipines in june, i wa wondering if anyone has ever been there. If so can anyone give me an advice about where to go or stay.

I was there at the start of this year for just over a week. Absolutely fantastic place.

As far as where to go it depends on what you are after really. I was keen to do some diving so flew directly into Cebu and booked a dive package with a company called Sea Explorers.

They've got a few offices on different Islands so it makes it really easy to Island hop around as they can organise all the transfers and accomodation.

Most of the diving I did was on Malapascua Island but I also spent some time on Bohol Island aswell.

Probably best to get a guide book for the place if you are planning on doing a lengthy trip. There's a few things that you need to be aware of such as areas with a Malaria risk. There are also some areas in the Philippines which are quite dangerous to travel to and some that are even off limits to tourists.

I went to the phillapines a few years ago, its a really nice place, the people are really friendly.

Spent a few weeks on a little island called Boracay, its a real party island, good fun and gorgeous beaches! the other side is also really poplular for surfing.

Spend a few days in Manila, the shops are so cheap!
