BE CAREFUL OF SOMETHING LIKE THIS............
Hello,
How are you? PLEASE KINDLY TAKE TIME TO READ AND UNDERSTAND BEFORE GETTING BACK TO ME. All the bills are included in the rent, Am so delighted to read back from you this show's that you are a serious person and i will like to have someone like you as my tenant. though i have a lot of candidate who are begging me for the rent of my flat but i deal in first come first serve. my flat is not a flatshare so you are all entitled to the flat and will not be sharing it with anybody.. And you may be wondering why is my flat so cheap due to it's standard? Am a kind of person who is blessed by God and does not want any inconvenience for other people moreover i have a lot of properties for rent here in united kingdom that is the reason why my flat are so cheap. All i need is someone who can take good care of my flat and someone who is financially capable of acquiring my flat. I need to know some few questions about you and i will be glad if you can answer it all.
1. How many of you are coming to live in my flat?
2. Do you have the rent and deposit with you presently?
3. Can you take care of my flat as it is?
4. Can you bring your identity passport when coming for viewing?
5. Do you have references in United Kingdom?
6.. What is your Contact phone number.
7. I hope you are not among the time waster's?
The rent has been confirmed per month and refundable deposit as you know. It is unfortunate that my past bitter experience of inviting people to come and view my flat without any form of confirmation of their financial ability and not keeping up to time as at when scheduled, has brought about great loss to me.. Please i want you to understand that i have had a lot of disappointment in having inviting people in the past and it is sad to confirm on the spot of viewing that 60% of viewers still depend on money that are not visible.Henceforth my lawyer and i have decided to carry out a simple test on financial ability to pay for my rent before coming for viewing.I would not ask you to send your bank statement as it may be used illegally sometimes, while some produce fake bank statements and pay slip,
Since you are interested in my flat,Therefore i will appreciate it if you can proof to me that you are financially capable of securing my flat. By transferring at least a month rent and security deposit of 600 which the total is 1,120 pounds to your reference name or your any partner of yours as the receiver through a moneygram transfer agent.. That can be verified on the website of the money transfer, such as moneygram post office or western union which i will prefer the money gram post office so that the cost of transfer will not be too much, though the transfer cost will be refunded back to you on the spot of viewing.and am taking my time to study this method of confirmation as the transfer can also be confirmed via telephone or internet to check if the transfer is there for your references to pick up or not.It is a very simple test that you need to do in order for my lawyer and i to be sure of your financial status. before we can both make an arrangement on where and when to come and show you flat. Also be cautious of who you drop or show your bank statement to,because it is very risky in doing so and that is why my lawyer has opted out this simple method that does not require any of your details in any form. The process of making the transfer is stated below so you can be sure that it does not require any of your bank details, So you are required to.
1. Locate the nearest post office shop around you.
2.Pick up the form of transfer and fill in the details which needs to be filled and return back to the post master.Details needed on the form are {sender name;your name and address.} {receiver name and address} the receiver will be your reference or partner's address
3.Return back to the post master with the cash you are transferring to your reference or any partner in united kingdom or reference and wait for the receipt to be returned back to you.
4.Scan the receipt to me and give me a call so i can check it if its truly genuine and available in reference custody..
5.After it has been confirmed on the website, then we can proceed for the viewing and you can as well tell your references or to pick up the money.
Note: I have not told you to send money to me,but which you can transfer the money between you and your reference or any of your partner just for my lawyer to make confirmation if you are presently capable of paying for my rent. After making the transfer through money gram post office.I will refund back to you cost of transfer when you come for viewing. And make sure you come along with the transfer receipt to know amount paid for the transfer so i can refund it back immediately. I have attached the copy of landlady membership certificate so you can be well assured that am the owner of the flat. you can click on link below to download it. Kindly send me your phone number in your next reply.

Hello,
First sorry for my late reply, My asking price is 280+100(including all taxes and bills) GBP per month and the first payment will be 2 months of rent GBP 760,because the minimum period is 2 months. The flat is very clean and i want to leave the flat to one person clean and responsible tenant.. For me is very hard to come in UK and if i will come i must be 100% sure that I will not come for nothing. As you can see in the photos everything it's new in the flat.I am working in Germany (Berlin) and I am here with my family ... as regards the viewing,i think we could fix a date i come in UK for the viewing and we reach an agreement. The property has a fully furnished kitchen, clean and well tidy sitting rooms, laundry room, and fully furnished with home utilities like:-electric shower, Lounge,Vacuum Cleaner,Toaster, Oven and microwave, dryer, iron, washing maching ascooker , refridgetor , dishwasher, power shower, heater, cable ready, tv set and dvd player, internet connection, equipped kitchen and all utilities.
I await your mail to know if you are satisfy with the details of my flat give to you as well to know and arrange for the viewing of the flat and arrange for the necessary thing that is also needed.

| We had a dose of 'Working in Italy, came back 3 times last week but all timewasters' boy, needing a western union transfer. (Checked his phone number and celebrity linked - (moorewillis/owensteve) addys. Given that the smallest one of us is 6'3" and both uggers from Brum we offered to meet him in the 'burgh and pay him cash plus a lil' bit on top for his troubles. He went away quickly. If it's the deal of the century it's probably Nigerian cheeks looking to enjoy himself while you lose a week or mores wage. |

Oh yes, the old 'scam a scammer' routine, and has anyone noticed how agressive they get, when you go back at them with obvious foolishness?
I had a bit of fun with a scammer, on my old work email ( boredom at work can be a terrible thing ) - It was the usual scenario, some Nigerian dude, trying to pass himself off as the humble bank clerk who'd suddenly realised that he had 4 trillion US dollars at his disposal, and nowhere to put it,blah blah, and he'd like to give some of it to me.. Anyways - To cut a long story short, I played into his hands, replied to his emails, telling him I would love a slice of the action. I told him my name Was Juliet Bravo, and my address was 'The Nick', Colindale London, and just to add insult to injury I gave him 'my' telephone number - Yep - the local number for Colindale Nick... Needless to say - That was the last I ever heard of him. I'd love to have been there, fly on the wall, when he called up the Police Station and asked for Juliet Bravo...

Posted: Tue Nov 17, 2009 9:49 pm Post subject: Buying concert tickets on Websites such as Gumtree, Kijji |
|
|
I feel I have to keep you all informed about this scam which my elder daughter faced last week so as to prevent any of you or your children falling for it.
My daughter was desperate to attend the Muse concert and so she put an advert on Gumtree for those wanting to sell their tickets to contact her. So she got this phone call from someone offering her two tickets for £150. There was someone else who offered her e-tickets but then she thought that such tickets may be fake so she decided to go for the former.
The seller asked her to transfer the money to his bank account and gave a name and an account number and sort code. He said he would send the tickets by FedEx later in the day once he had confirmed receipt of the money. My daughter transfered the money (and the account number and sort code only was required by her bank to perform this transaction). She of course felt that doing this was quite safe as money was going from one bank to another and that her bank would be able to assist recover the money in the event of any problems. I was at work and not aware of all these happenings. Later the same day my daughter tried to contact the seller but his phone number was no longer working (he obviously purchased a new chip for the purpose of this fraud). Well, the tickets did not arrive and both banks say they cannot do anything as she had transfered the money. Is'nt that great for a Bank like the Alliance and Leicester to protect the account of their customer who is using his account to rob others!!
Now for the next part of the Muse concert saga. My daughter was simply desperate to go to the concert so again unawares to me, she arranged with some other seller on Gumtree on the day of the concert to meet up somewhere and buy two tickets off him against cash payment. She and her friend went and met this guy, paid him ( I have not been told how much) and went off to see the concert only to be refused entry as the tickets were fake! I only got to know about it this evening as a letter arrived from the police for her and she did not want to me explain what it was about so I asked my wife when I got the chance and was give the above information.
Buying on E-bay is safe especially if paying by Pay Pal, anywhere else be careful. If meeting and buying tickets, it would be a good idea to ask the seller to bring a recent utility bill in his or his parents names and his original birth certificate/passport so you can note down the details. Everyone has a mobile phone these days so use it to get a good photo of the person with his/her permission so you can give it to the police if the need arises. If the person is a fraudster he/she will not agree especially to the photo and you will have saved yourself some cash!
Be safe everyone and take care.
