Have a read of our FAQs, and if that still doesn't help you figure out what went wrong, please contact us via the info on the FAQ page.
We can't answer specific questions about your ads on the forum.

i read the FAQs before i post the query. even sent you two emails via the info on the FAQ page a week ago. but never got any reply from you guys yet ! yes i confess i have posted same postings in different sections without knowing of risk of being deleted and permanently barred from any further postings !! it is quite frustrating for me not to be able to post anything being a regular gummy :-( :-( .. PLEASE HELP MOI !!! |

I also have sent them an email with no response.....
so what happens if you have posted and they've deleted them then they ban you from any other postings???
Yet mine weren't even remotely controversial!!!!! Can understand some of the crap that does get posted getting banned - yet that all remains - so why is it only specific postings targetted???
Would be nice if a Gummie Mod replied .............  |

THAT IS NO ANSWER
The answer is for you to notify the person of what is wrong so that it can be amended. It's your site and most of us have a far greater comprehension of what is and is not acceptable than your customers who are disinclined to trawl through paragraphs of small print and who still get rubbished even when they do and they adhere to what they see.
Of course you can't answer specific questions about ads on the forum, so do as you should have done from the outset and contact the person involved. |

Hello there
Firstly we are sorry, and very surprised, to hear that one or two of you have not seemed to have a response from us with your emails. We do respond to all emails that we receive, with the majority responded to within a couple of working days. We will try and contact the individuals directly to figure out what went wrong and to answer the queries that you had.
There can be many reasons why an ad has been deleted which is why rather than list all possible reasons out here we recommend that you check the FAQs first. Although we do read these forums we can't answer specific users problems this way so please do let us know via the contact details provided on the FAQs page (support@gumtree.com) if you have a query that the FAQs cannot answer, with details about your ad, so that we can look it up and help you out.
However based on your feedback we recognise that maybe not everyone is clear from the FAQs therefore we are going to shortly be posting some further information on our deletion policies to help clarify for everyone the reasons why we have to delete some ads.
