Hello,
I posted an ad in the freebies section recently but due to a change in circumstance, I could no longer give the item away. I explained this politely and apologetically to the person who was to receive the item but have since received two abusive emails from her. I was wondering if there's anything I could do about this or is it best to just ignore them?
Thank you and best wishes. |

You should ignore her. If you gave a polite, genuine reply then the problem is hers, not yours.
The same thing happened to me when I bought some ice skating tickets from someone but never received them. She made no effort to track them or see if the venue would give a replacement and totally ruined the surprise for my son. Then she got abusive. I read a couple then ignored her and thankfully she went away.
If you have a clear conscience, then kick her to the curb! |
