What are you after.
A site that looks good but doesnt give you any control or a CMS system that uses templates and allows you the ability to edit and control your own content without any developer knowledge.
If your new business is advertising prices and ever changing products you will end up paying a small fortune for a developer to change your content on your pages, using a free CMS system you can do this work yourself from any computer anywhere in the world and is as easy as using a word processor.
CMS software
http://www.joomla.org
Hosting
http://www.nativespace.co.uk
Templates
http://www.rockettheme.com
http://www.joomladesigns.co.uk
I have a small company that does this work, I can build the initial site and sort out your hosting for a cost and then hand full control over to you.
If not have a look at doing it yourself, its all free except the domain name, hosting and templates. |

| If you are developing a web site for business you need good developers before anything: web design is the easy past |

I agree, I am not a designer not a single artistic bone in my body thats where the templates come in handy, they are excellently laid out and fully functional. Most of the companies on this site advertise some great looking websites but they do not hand control over to the client and instead they charge a per page rate for the company to edit the pages, so basically your stuck.
CMS is the way forward, developers have done and are still developing the infrastructure leaving the client to concentrate on what they require, change the look and feel of your site in minutes and not an expensive rebuild, your only issue is your own imagination. |
