Hi there,

I plan to camp in Sardenia (August) and was wondering if anyone has any advice on good camping facilities? On searching the web, I have discovered that there are hundreds upon hundreds of camping grounds but wondered if someone could offer suggestions as to where a good facility is located in the North Western-ish area (Sassari in particular as I have family there).

I would be grateful for any advice at all.

I stayed at La Mariposa, just outside Alghero a couple of years ago.... it's really cheap and absolutley BEAUTIFUL.... I'd definitely recommend it.
