names.
khukuri for only decent curry in town, tiger coast in north berwick good but less reliable. someone burn down the prince eh? bonoful in portie's ok.
fist coast for trad food though increasingly full of effete wankers with waxwork wifies thanks to idiot journalists. 'so what do you do?', 'f* off'.
ullapool for fish n chips. Even l'alba doro ain't tryin hard enuff.
the oriental eateries are all msg slophouses funding your own colonisation. |

good god man, has no one eaten at the Sizzling Scot?!?
my friends and i started a thing last year where every month we would go out for a meal in a different place every month in edinburgh. unfortunetly in our second month we found the Sizzling Scot on dalry road.
all the food is served in huge portions, all the ingredients are grown/raised in scotland (you can actually ask for full details of all the produce there), the staff are very pleasant and the price aint too bad neither.
its the only place i go now cause i know i will enjoy my meal and not waste my money
oh, and the mussels, are to die for! |

I want to echo the comments made above about the Sizzling Scot (Dalry Road). I think the restaurant offers the best value for money Ive tried in Edinburgh for Scottish food or Steak house cuisine.
The friendly restaurant manager asked me to tell people about their new website when I was in so here it is http://www.sizzlingscot.co.uk
Id recomend you give it a try one evening!!

Its called Mc Donalds, near St Andrew's square!
Its lovely they have burgers for .69pences and some Sundays icecreams for .99...
if you pay like 4pounds you even have a three course meal, some fat chips, a burger and a sugary soda!!!

Tesco Nicholson's street!
They have a lovely corner on the street just before the entrance, where you can delight any cheese savoury sandwiches that they have to offer!!
And if you are hungry you can also take another course, a bag of seasonal crisps!
They even have an extensive choice of beverages from tesco value juice to a good old Coca-cola!!
And for dessert why not trying any luxurious milk chocolate shortcake?
YUM,

I had lunch yesterday at "La P'tite Folie 2", 9 Randolph's Place,behind Indigo Yard,
They have a lunch offer of 2 courses for 7.50, I had veg spring rolls & salmon with veg, my friend had mussels then coq au vin, I think it closes at 2:15pm though, fab weather yesterday so ate on the sidewalk and they even had french waiters! |
