I would like to suggest that you add Durham in the north east of England. The nearest cities that you have included are Stockton, Middlesbrough and Newcastle all of which are a considerable distance from Durham. Durham is a quite large and famous for many things including it's universitys, it is densely populated and in my view should be included. |

What happened to the promise of adding northhampton or northampton shire  ,
twiggy agreed it was being worked on ...must have got forgotten  .
Look at the amount of requests for this area , doesn't anyone in the office read this thread...what's the point of asking if you are not going to listen ?? |

| There's a lot more things going on in Fife than people think but it's hard to find them. After moving to Fife from Edinburgh i'm finding it hard to get involved in anything and a Gumtree is just what the county needs! |

would be Great to see either Wrexham / Chester / north west cheshire it covers quite a area and there is a lack of local information for this area on the web

I think you should either add Cornwall in general or split it into a few areas like Liskeard, Truro, Redruth and Penzance. Which would give most of us in Cornwall access to more local Gumtree sites as otherwise our nearest Gumtree is Plymouth which for some of us is quite away from where we actually live.
With all the different industries in Cornwall it would be good for advertising jobs. Also we could find out local events easier and so could holiday makers, Plus with the great sellling you can do through Gumtree aswell I think it would just be a winner. |

Im in Birmingham and leaving to Paris end of the year.
I have been using Gumtree quite a lot (actually selling my car) but I cant find any Gumtree in France 
Are you ever going to get Gumtree in France? |

We need to be in Crawley/Gatwick. At present the nearest is London or Brighton each which have their own unique identities. Crawley is fast growing and in line to be the next UK city [ when they decide a cathedral is an obsolete requirement ] We have the second biggest UK airport and a thriving multi-cutural community. We are smaller and more village like than London and more conservative than briney Brighton so give us our own space and voice.  |

| you have 2 sites quiet near each other, reading and guildford, yet then you go by county, like Kent, so there is nothing near Purley or Caterham in Surrey, you have to post in London but we are to far out. Croydon is hugh and the london one covers to far an area. please consider |

hi i really think we need a gumtree for hemel hempstead, the reason being that me and my whole family use this site to buy and sell items and it would be good to get the message to more local people rather than just people from luton. london and milton keynes as these areas are quite some distance from hemel hempstead and it is not easy to travel around for some people I.E myself and lots of people who have replied to my ads but didnt realise that i am in hemel hempstead and as such i have lost potential business

Hi i am new to Gumtree and i live in the Peterborough area.
Pboro does not have a Gumtree and i think it should,it has such a diverse population and is a progressive town and would really benefit from a community site like Gumtree.
PLEASE give us our very own GUMTREE |

Agreed but more importantly its a predominately student town, who are more likely to use the web over a newspaper for these things. Would love if they included lincoln as many students could use the jobs listings aswell as trade. Thanks |

| Why is a Gumtree administrator asking what citiys they need on their listings? Has he never heard of a map? Just list all the counties, and then a list of all the cities and major towns. Then, computerwise, the citys and towns would be a sub-catagory of the counties, and searching would be easy and logical. there now, that wasn't difficult, was it. But probably beyond the capabilities of Gumtree. |
