Suggest a new Gumtree city!

Chichester, West Sussex is a thriving market town with lots of interesting places and would make a great Gumtree location.

I currently post my ads on the Edinburgh location but although my ads always give the address I get about 80% of my enquiries from people looking for places in Edinburgh, which is then a bad use of my time.
Dunfermline has a thriving lettings industry with around 7 town centre agents and dozens of local agents like myself.
Please consider it.

It would be nice to see more North West areas - such as Cumbria - Lake District - these are not cities. Maybe do towns instead...? Workington? I know you will be there forever lol Carlisle is a city. That would be nice. Thanks! Very Happy

Well I would like to suggest 'Telford' although it's not officially a city it has a huge population made up of lots of small towns and villages. The same goes for Warrington (in between Manchester and Liverpool). It's makes it confusing when when we have to sift through loads of irrelevant adds. You could always sort them into counties like Cheshire and Shropshire.

When will DUBAI and ABU DHABI Gumtree's come up!

Both bus hubs, shops etc and untold people and ex pats there and very hard to find any property that is actually finished and ready to move in and places to hang out etc

I run the bestofworcester and there are 1.2 million terms searched in Google every month with the word "Worcester" in the search criteria.

i.e. worcester taxis, worcester florists, worcester pottery etc........

Your site would be fantastic in adding the people of worcester to your community.

Anything you can do to reduce the confusion on gumtree.com would be good, but THE SINGLE BIGGEST THING WOULD BE TO SET UP A TELEPHONE HELPDESK !!!!!!!!!!!!
At present if you call a directories enquires line you will be directed to us,Gumtree 4x4 Ltd, an independent garage in Sussex, UK, by the lazy operators and we are FED UP TO THE BACK TEETH with taking calls from confused, unhappy, frustrated or just plain stupid customers of gumtree.com. We receive between 5 and 20 calls a day at the moment plus various e-mails from all sorts of lost souls including the police! My advice to them all is to ask for their money back and advertise elsewhere.......... If gumtree.com was to become responsible and set up a helpline that opinion might change!

Please don't set up any more cities until you have got your act together with the existing ones................. Gumtree 4x4 is fed up with getting gumtree.com's unhappy customers! Either that or SET UP A HELPLINE!

I think High Wycombe should be on Gumtree.
High Wycombe is a big city and it is far away from Milton Keynes (he only other in Bucks), Reading , London and Oxford (different counties all together).
So I think there is a very good case for having and adding High Wycombe as a separate city / location to your database.

I think its been mentioned a couple of times but Dunfermline in Fife is crying out for one. This would plug the gap between Dundee and Edinburgh as if you go through both cities there are a lot of Fife advertisements that should all be going to Dunfermline (or maybe Kirkcaldy?).

Is this possible and how many "votes" does this need? If there was a Fife-centric site I know I would start paying for advertising on the site as opposed to doing the free ads - hope this sort of endorsement would help and I am sure other companies feel the same.
