As you all remember in 2006 (December) i posted a message on here warning you off a guy selling stuff and not giving you the item when you pay for it.
Let me remind you:
Last December my 11yr old Daughter (who has Leukemia) asked me to place a bid on EBAY for "Alias Series 5 box set" for her using her Xmas Money.
i found this seller who had 100% good feedback etc etc...I won the bid and emailed the seller he emailed back with his Address and Name (which was different from the one registered on EBAY) on the Monday i sent him a P.O recd Delivery with all my details, i emailed him the next day and asked if he had recvd payment but i got no reply.
EBAY then told me 3 days later they had to remove him from there site and don't send payment to him which by that time it was to late.
Ive emailed the seller manytimes sometimes i didn't get a reply but then he told me 3wks ago EBAY had my item, then a week ago "Its in the post"
Even the "Luton Today" newspaper contacted him but no reply.
Still to date No Box Set and my daughter has lost her money and didn't get The Box Set 4 Xmas..

Dear TheToad2006,
I think Mr Ali might owe me some money too for a dodgy Sale. He dealt with me under Mr Wahied Ali at an address in LU4. I have been advised by his cousin that he is now dead which might explain the lack of response to his ebay account. Can you confirm the address he provided you with?
It would be much appreciated.

oh, please - dead con artist? Oldest trick in the book. There's a notorious landlord has cried off attending the small claims court because of the death of his mother which is news to her and the customers of her dry cleaning business.
Of course, he would like people to think he's dead so they won't persue him.
I would advise you to get together with other fleeced people and contact the fraud squad of the Police and follow up with Ebay admin about the user - they will be forced to hand over their records to the police to investigate if the Police decide to look into it. let them know he's handily decided that he's dead and i am sure they can resurrect him in time for his trial. |

| Also, look into how other people have dealt with ebay fraudsters in a more informal way, which has included humiliating them on websites. |

I dont think there is much you can do, this might be fraud,
ie identity fraud and this person does not even exist.
well why use a PO, whatever that is, use paypal on ebay they are good |

I can't stand people like that, I have bought many things off of ebay and paid through paypal, several of the items didn't work but when I contacted the person I bought them off they were fast in responding and replaced the items at no further cost to myself. This is very fortunate for me but I'd be devistated if anyone screwed me over like that
did you ever manage to get her a box set else where? |
