I know what I did was stupid, and perhaps I deserve this for being so dumb, so please don't lecture me on this, I just don't want others to fall into this trap so am making it publicly aware.

This guy, 'Daniel Mason', advertises premium xbox 360s around the £150-£170 mark, including games (yes, alarm bells ring immedietely, 'too good to be true'), the location is set to 'all'. Upon enquiring, i was told it was an xmas present for his 'girlfriend', but she 'hated it, lol' so is selling it (alarm number 2, who would buy their girlfriend a 360 for christmas, particularly with games like 'gears of war'). Now, he emails me asking for a bank transfer to a 'k edwards' (his 'girlfriends' account), account number 94340342, sort code 090126.....

The rest is history, I know I'm an idiot, just please don't fall into this trap (i don't doubt many would, but if you're considering it, DON'T).

Oh yeah, the apparent 'address' is 2 Proctor Gardens, Bookham, Surrey. Abbey branch is Letherhead. Please feel free to spam his email as much as you like.

Emailed a second person selling for £155 here to, again location is 'all', and guess what.... it's the same person, same story, 'girlfriend' hated it. The name is Karen E, hotmail is 'airforce69@hotmail.co.uk'. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I too fell for this scam and lost £180.
